Get a trusted person oriented before you need them to be — where things are, who to contact, and how to reach your accounts without you ever writing down a live password.

Why this exists: Domain 11 of the Playbook recommends "a written, offline document listing account recovery info location for a trusted person, without exposing live credentials." This turns that recommendation into something you actually fill out. It is not a will, a legal document, or a substitute for an estate attorney — it's a working note.

Never write an actual password here. Use your password manager's built-in emergency access feature (Bitwarden and Proton Pass both support a trusted-contact request-and-wait-period model) so a trusted person can get in without a live credential ever existing in writing.
